Why We do this.

Think of this:

  • The Bible was written over a span of at least 1500 years, with the last book written over 1900 years ago
  • Over 40 authors have written the Bible in that time span
  • The styles of the Bible range from History, to Poetry, to Prophecy, and many more.

Now with all these different authors and styles, you would think that it doesn't talk about the same thing.  But the crazy thing is, it's a complete unit!  All the books go together, and you can't understand any of them completely without the help of the others!  Not only that, it's a story about real people, and a God who loves them.  Real people, with real problems.  Despite the fact that they lived at the very least 1900 years ago, they still relate to us today.

What God accomplished through them, you can accomplish today.  You can overcome the difficulties you face, and through the Bible your life will change.

This is why we do this.

This is why we want you to read the Bible.
